Primarily a Professional Inside Sales role that is responsible for selling AICPA and products and services to all other accounting firms not assigned to Enterprise and Strategic Sales staff (unless instructed to do so by Sales Management) by performing the following duties:

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Manages inbound sales call volume for “main line” requests including assistance with log in information, web cast assistance and more
  2. Operates as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your assigned customers.
  3. Qualifies leads and opportunities that are produced by marketing campaigns
  4. Performs outbound calling on special offers, conferences, workshop attendance, etc.
  5. Performs outbound calling to add additional consoles and users to and other products
  6. Updates, Forecasts and tracks key sales metrics within Salesforce CRM.
  7. Identifies and grows leads and opportunities within assigned accounts and collaborates with sales teams to ensure growth attainment.
  8. Meets assigned sales quotas
  9. Occasionally may represent the company at trade shows and conferences, as assigned
  10. May travel on behalf of the company
  11. Other duties may be assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university; and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word software, Microsoft Excel software, Microsoft PowerPoint software, Salesforce CRM software and email software.

  • Ability to work independently and occasionally with a team of co-workers to educate and sell solutions to certified public accounting firms and selected businesses

Language Ability:

Ability to communicate well via the telephone, face-to-face and in writing.  Can read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.


Math Ability:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.


Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
