  • Summary

    Supports the operations of the organization's internal and external events and trainings. Works across many teams to coordinate and ensure information is current, accurate and in compliance by performing the following duties.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Functions as a liaison between management and various departments & external clients to facilitate smooth daily operations.*
    1. Ensures management is informed of deadlines and problems.*
    1. Assists in the maintenance and updating of internal and external educational materials.*
    1. Maintains records and documentation of CPE records for corporate compliance, and issue certificates of completion.*
    1. Coordinates webpage updates for blog postings, event dates and details, etc.*
    1. Coordinates and schedules speakers for training engagements and preparatory meetings.*
    1. Facilitates the contract process between internal parties for training engagements.*
    1. Creates and maintains master forms and contracts designed to enhance efficient office operations and user experience.*
    1. Tracks and reports on expenses for offsite meetings.*
    1. Coordinates logistics for off-site events, including but not limited to: shipments, assembling materials, generating name badges, etc.*
    1. Assists events and marketing communications manager with logistics for trade shows and training events.*
    1. Handles special projects as needed.*

    Education and Experience

    Associate's degree (A. A. / A. S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Computer Skills

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Pro, file transfer tool browsers, and project management software.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    Directly supervises employees in the Professional Development and Alliances Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Language Ability:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

     

    Math Ability:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

     

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
