  • Summary

    Focuses on selling a new cloud-based solution to mid-sized CPA firms. Responsible for developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, preparing sales reports, answering client inquiries, and identifying new business opportunities among existing customers by performing the following duties.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Engages in active outbound prospecting to build sales pipeline of opportunities.*
    1. Serves as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.*
    1. Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting client relationships.*
    1. Develops trusted advisor relationships with accounts and stakeholders.*
    1. Ensures timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs.*
    1. Develops new business with existing clients and identifies areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.*
    1. Communicates the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders in a clear manner.*
    1. Uses CRM system effectively for tracking activities with prospects and customers.*
    1. Communicates and effectively presents the CPA.com value proposition to prospects and customers.*
    1. Documents and communicates product feedback from customers effectively.*
    1. Works with product support to inform needs for product enhancements.*
    1. Recognizes cross-selling opportunities for other products.*
    1. Travels occasionally as required.*

    Education and Experience

    Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university; and one to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior B2B sales experience, preferably in the technology or accounting space is preferred. Minimum of 1-4 years experience is ideal.

    Computer Skills

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Salesforce.com, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
