  • Summary

    Acts as the product subject matter expert, supports strategic account managers and product marketing in the sales as well as marketing functions. Liaisons respective product partner teams on developing processes & procedures for channel activity. Provides data used by sales operations to improve CRM database information and use by performing the following duties.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Coordinates directly with strategic account managers (SAMs) for specific product opportunities.
    1. Coordinates directly with product marketing for informing specific product messages and marketplace opportunities.
    1. Coordinates and perform specific product demos, trainings, onboarding’s, and presentations both in pre-sales as well as post-sales capacities.
    1. Coordinates and perform product specific internal trainings as well as communications.
    1. Develops internal sales support materials and maintain current resource library on shared sales drive.
    1. Works directly with the vendor partner channel teams on developing processes and procedures related to CPA firm channel activities.
    1. Provides white glove product support and assistance to strategic firm partners.
    1. Communicates with all stakeholders internally and with firm as well as vendor partners surrounding activates related to specific products.
    1. Travels to industry events and represent CPA.com as well as specific partner products to prospective and current customers/firms.
    1. Travels onsite to firm partner offices to facilitate face to face meetings, trainings, and other activities to advance growth of specific product adoption as well as use.
    1. Informs, develops, and executes business development, sales, as well as, marketing strategies for specific products.

    Education and Experience

    Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university; and two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Computer Skills

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, assigned partner products such as Intacct, Bill.com, RIVIO, Vertex, or others.

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
