  • Summary

    Responsible for working on the planning and implementation of projects that support the marketing function by performing the following duties.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Responsible for managing the trade show calendar and tradeshow logistics.
    1. Negotiates sponsorship levels and agreements for trade show, onsite and virtual, corporate participation.
    1. Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost, and managing projects to completion.
    1. Identifies, evaluates, and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives and provides pre- and post-sale marketing support to the Sales Team.
    1. Tracks trade show activity and evaluates results to provide recommendations for future participation and activities.
    1. Researches potential event locations and evaluates alternatives.
    1. Manages marketing budget sheets and event budget sheets,.
    1. Acts as a main approver of vendor invoices.
    1. Manages the input of marketing leads into the CRM database.
    1. Coordinates plans and executes company participation in trade shows.
    1. Facilitates pre-event preparation meetings in various levels.
    1. Coordinates, exhibit set-up and equipment necessary for events.
    1. Coordinates logistics, including registration and attendee tracking, and pre- and post-event evaluations.

        14. Builds and maintains strong relationships with trade show and media vendors and printers.

     

        15. Research and implement techniques to create engagement through social media and at trade show events.

     

    Other duties may be assigned.

    Education and Experience

    Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Computer Skills

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, CRM, and social media automation tools.

    Math Ability

     

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

     

    Reasoning Ability

     

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
