Summary

CPA.com is a forward-thinking organization dedicated to helping Client Advisory Services (CAS) practices in the accounting industry achieve their full potential through our CAS2.0 strategic transformation initiatives.  We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to foster innovation, resilience and support change management within firms. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and be comfortable collaborating with leadership to align organizational goals, facilitate best practices in building Client Advisory Services (CAS) practices, and offering mentorship at the individual and firm level.  

 

Key Job Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Provide coaching to appropriate individuals and teams to guide them through the CAS2.0 transformation process.

 

  • Deliver tailored business transformation strategies aligned with CAS2.0 change management and CPA.com coaching program.

 

  • Collaborate with firm leadership to understand organizational goals and challenges when facilitating practice re-envisioning and establishing CAS vision and mission.

 

  • Responsible for driving accountability & action for best practices of building CAS, including firms using Sage Intacct in their technology stack.

 

  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, training and participate in various speaking engagements.

 

  • Act as a mentor and advisor offering insights, expertise, and support to firmstaff and leadership.

 

  • Facilitate delivery of change management execution plans to ensure a smooth transition during the transformation journey.

 

  • Assist in designing coaching materials in alignment with CPA.com coaching and consulting team vision and strategy.

 

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and adaptability within the organization.

  

Develop a deep understanding of CPA.com products and services and staying current on CAS industry trends and advancements.

 

 

Skill and Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • CPA designation, preferred.  
  • 10+ total year’s experience, including at least 4+ years experience working in a Client Advisory Services (CAS) practice in a firm (manager, senior manager, director or partner level), strongly preferred. 
  • Business transformation, change management or organization development experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of the Sage Intacct platform and understanding of the Sage Intacct Accountants Program, preferred.  
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to envision and articulate a successful transformation roadmap.
  • Ability to travel for work assignments (30+%).
  • Comfortable working in a virtual environment.
  • Strong presence and communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Passion for helping others.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, navigate competing priorities, and effectively adjust work plans to respond to emergent challenges or opportunities. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organized.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and uncertainty.
