Summary

CPA.com, a leading developer and distributor of technology solutions for the CPA profession is seeking an Account Manager who is looking to apply their skillset and grow with a dynamic and fast-growing organization.  The Account Manager role focuses on selling CPA.com products and services to mid-sized CPA firms. Responsible for developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, preparing sales reports, answering client inquiries, and identifying new business opportunities by performing the following duties.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Meets and/or exceeds quarterly new business sales goals. 
  2. Communicates and effectively presents the CPA.com value proposition to prospects and customers. 
  3. Ability to conduct high level product demos and perform professional presentations of CPA.com solutions to prospects and clients.
  4. Develop strong trusted advisor relationships with accounts and stakeholders.
  5. Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters. 
  6. Cultivates cross-selling opportunities to expand the CPA.com portfolio within a firm.
  7. Communicates the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders in a clear manner. 
  8. Engages in active outbound prospecting to build sales pipeline of opportunities. 
  9. Ensures timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs. 
  10. Uses CRM system effectively for tracking activities with prospects and customers. 
  11. Leverage Sales Enablement Technology to drive success (Office365, SFDC, Tableau, SalesLoft etc.)
  12. Documents and communicates product feedback from customers effectively. 
  13. Works with product support to inform needs for product enhancements. 
  14. Travels occasionally as required.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office, CRM(Salesforce.com).

 

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university.

 

Specialized Training

Sales process training (Sandler, Challenger, Solution Selling, GAP selling)

 

Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of business products and processes
  • 3+ years sales experience. Accounting profession or technology company experience is a plus.
  • Ability to learn and embrace new sales enablement technology
  • Strong oral, written, visual/presentation communication skills
  • Ability to achieve quarterly quota expectations
  • High level of professionalism
  • Disciplined time management and prioritization skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving start-up like environment
