Summary

Responsible for manipulating data from multiple sources with high integrity, providing excellent communication to the sales operations team regarding the status of projects, and the verification of data entered into the CRM. The revenue operations specialist also should be committed to transforming data into readable, goal-driven reports for continued innovation and growth by performing the following duties.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

  1. Populates data from spreadsheets and various other sources into our Salesforce CRM/database systems.*
  2. Manipulates data from multiple sources including conferences, trade shows, and business partners.*
  3. Creates and manipulates spreadsheets with large number of figures and rows without mistakes.*
  4. Verifies data by comparing the entries to the source documents.*
  5. Updates existing Salesforce CRM data.*
  6. Generates and analyzes reports from Salesforce or other systems.*
  7. Communicates effectively with the sales operations and account management teams.*
  8. Processes confidential data and information according to guidelines.*
  9. Supports initiatives for data integrity, quality control, and normalization.*

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises employees in the Sales Operations Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Salesforce.

 

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:

  • Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and spreadsheets
  • Strong typing skills with accuracy
  • Basic understanding of databases
  • Great attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer systems
